Today we want to share a new culinary hotspot with you. Its an asian restaurant called Madame Hu which is located in the heart of munich near Schwanthalerhöhe. The owner likes to call it „asian street food“. Once youve eaten there you will understand why. If you are getting sick of all these standard european-chinese dishes like chop suey and kung pao chicken, Madame Hu is definitely the place to go to.
There is a huge selection of food that satisfies everybodys taste buds. If you usually enjoy more of a healthy lifestyle you can choose from 4 to 5 different salad dishes. For all meat fans there are currys with all kinds of meat available. To go with it they serve you a big bowl of rice. For the adventurous people out there, the restaurant offers some awesome specials like the Peking Duck that is basically duckmeat served with 5 little pancakes made out of rice, milk and eggs. You can dip it into 6 different sauces, from sweet to spicy.
The atmosphere was very cozy and the wooden furniture gives the restaurant that artistic vibe it needs to remind you of eating delicious asian food on the streets. Especially those pretty looking lamps hanging from the ceiling caught our eyes. They looked like little balloons filled with flames of fire. The service was also very good and friendly. It was our second time at Madame Hu and for sure it wont be the last time. There is just one tiny thing to add…take cash with you… you cannot pay with debit or credit card.
